Require a Part time Practice Nurse

16 Hours per week (9.30am to 6:30pm) on Monday & Friday

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our dedicated practice team. We are a growing, family orientated practice with a current list size of 5400 patients. We have modern facilities & are based within Herts & Essex Community Hospital in Bishop's Stortford. We pride ourselves on delivering professional medical care in a friendly environment while striving to meet all the challenges of modern General Practice.

The successful candidate will be supported by two GP Partners, Practice Nurse & Healthcare Assistant along with our Practice Manager & Administration team.

SystmOne & primary care experience preferred – but not essential as training can be provided.

The successful candidate will treat patients with acute & minor illnesses. They will also have good interpersonal skills, be flexible, reliable & carry out a variety of daily duties to meet patient needs.

 Duties to include:

  • General Practice Nurse Duties
  • Acute / Minor Illness
  • Independent Prescribing Preferred
  • Chronic Disease Management & Medication Changes
  • Meeting QoF Indicators
  • Family Planning

Salary negotiable & dependant on experience / qualifications – plus NHS Pension Scheme provided.  Post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
